Internal Monitoring

Four Fundamental Outcomes

The Foundation engages in ongoing progress monitoring of its effectiveness in fulfilling its mission. Foundation staff and consultants analyze data, conduct surveys with grantees and stakeholders, and engage in self-assessment annually to ensure four fundamental outcomes:

  • Grants that are awarded align with the Foundation’s intentions, goals and annual priorities.
  • The application, vetting, award and evaluation processes are considerate of grant-seeker time and effort and support grantees in maximizing successful and impactful project results.
  • Internal infrastructure and communications with grantees, associates and financial partners are efficient and effective, resulting in positive collegial collaboration.
  • Evaluation findings demonstrate project outcomes have contributed to some immediate impact and added longer-term value in the development of more effective and innovative solutions addressing the Foundation’s goals and annual priorities.
